Four Steps To Developing Patience; Jane Bolton, Psy.D., M.F.T., C.C

The Purpose of Patience
So, what's the purpose of building patience abilities? In a word, happiness. Better relationships, more success. Well worth the effort, I'd say. But effort, indeed, it takes.

We can all work to develop more patience. An important idea here is that developing patience is just that. Developing a skill. We aren't born with it. Think of a hungry infant- shrieking with all it's red-faced, rigid-bodied impatient demand for satisfaction.
After all, we can't just sit down at a piano and play it without ever learning to play and practicing, practicing, practicing.
That practicing includes 1)paying attention to when we are not patient, 2) being kind to ourselves for not being "perfect" already, and 3)changing the automatic judgmental, critical thoughts and feelings.

Canon Announces Three New Cameras and a Lens

Canon may not have made a splash with its mirrorless EOS M, but with the introduction of the EOS SL1, the world’s smallest and lightest DSLR, it’s clearly going head-to-head with slightly larger and heavier mirrorless options like the Panasonic G5 and GH3.

EXCUSE ME!… FIND YOUR BALANCE.

EXCUSE ME!… FIND YOUR BALANCE.

It is unfortunate that man is growing and becoming advanced in technology, industrialization and other aspect of civilization. Yet man is increasingly retrogressing in matters of Humanity.
Man has succeeded in growing big big bombs that will destroy humanity with the excuse of war, crises, and the slightest provocation.

However, this same man has been unable to create weapons that will foster UNITY. Bullets that will increase PEACE, tablets that will improve HONESTY and KINDESS.

Despite our modernization, people of old seem to live better, happier and loved life.
Simply because they take better decisions, they apply better knowledge based on right or wrong. This is why they know that:
No matter what you benefit from greed and dishonesty, patience and honesty is always the best. This is why they knew that good women get married faster but only wise women keep the home.

This is why good women because of one foolish mistake they destroy their homes, yet bad women keep their homes despite them, because of some wise decisions.
If you are wise and you reflect on the issues of life. You will know that a man that cannot be faithfull to his own vision, dreams or purpose. A man that cannot stand firm for his belief s and conviction cannot be faithfull to a woman, whether she is a girlfriend or wife.

Sadly we seem to be very good at selecting good materials, quality shoes and handbag. But we fail to take the right decisions.
Sometimes we lose the little best we have because of the extra big we are expecting due to bad decision.
Life is like a market. There are always too many things to buy, but you must choose the ones you need the most and those which you can afford.

Therefore life is choice and choices are about values, and values are about perception, perception is about knowledge.
This means you must have the right and proper knowledge. Failure to do so, you are doomed to fail, Now or later.
The truth is simply, if you are wise, it is you that will benefit, if you are foolish only you will bear.

This is the burden of balance.

300 OLD DISEASE:ORIGIN OF BLACK MAN MENTALITY

The first black man arrived Virginia in 1619, then the blacks were initially treated as indentured servants. After period of service, they were free to go  work their own land. But by 1681, laws were passed to legalize slavery. From then on Africa became the world’s greatest “Manufactures of Slaves”.
So for almost 200 years, Africans have been wearing the chains of slavery, on the legs, hands and as decorative necklace of labour.

Thereafter came the era of independence. By sheer strategy of misdirection, the chains were removed after much complaint. Please note, the chains were not broken. It was simply removed from hands, legs and neck and embedded in the brain.
Ever since, the black mind has been struggling to understand itself. But since the black mind inadvertently was the disease itself, it has become an almost  futile surgical exercise to free the diseased mind.

HOW TO FIND YOUR SPOT... A Poem.

A PLACE FOR YOU.

The sky is blue
The grass is green
The rock is solid
And water is shapeless.
Each stands in its place.
Takes pride to be a part of earth
And to fulfill nature’s
Quest for purity and originality.

EXCELLENCE BRIDGE PROVIDES LASTING SOLUTION TO PEACE

Femi Osofisan’s Women of Owu, a play, recounts events that happened years ago, an adaption.
What makes it more out of the ordinary is that the play is an African retelling of Euripides’ The Trojan Women. One would gain more from this play if the original book had been read. However, more gain lies on the fact that the play would also be fantastic to see live.

Like some other plays such as Arrow of God, Radio Gulf, Visa to Nowhere, etc. which have been performed live on stage by notable group of artists to the delight of the audience, the Excellence Bridge School is offering an exciting and amazing performance of Women of Owu.

SHAME ON US

In the midst of soo much anger, bitterness, and all out condemnation of the Uniport. 4 which i totally support. It will do us good to remind ourselves, that we were not like this before, something brought us to this level and with all the available signs, it is still going to take us further.  Except we brake and reflect and ask ourselves, very deeeeeeep questions. because we have been justifying death, in all forms, Religious crises, political crises, family crises, ethnic crises, campus cultism, and now the taking of inestimable gift of life has now become common..cant you see how easy it has become for us to video and transmit the process of death?
 HUMANITY WHERE IS YOUR HUMANITY.
