   *   Introduction to thinking

   *   Trends in thinking

INTELLIGENCE CITY CAMP 2.0: COUNT DOWN TO OPENING... Registration still on.

As the world expands in people and ideas, approaches and platforms are also changing to meet these demands.

This phenomenon has no doubt set in motion series of activities and chain reactions, which in turn has created a new World Oder. In this present order, knowledge is the greatest asset, far beyond gold and landed properties.

If we are to enjoy and harvest from this mental wealth, the time to invest in human capital development is now.

Unfortunately, the Nigerian school curriculum is not enough to meet this present challenge, hence the need to introduce a supplementary platform to boost the efforts of our educational curriculum. That is if we want our children to level with other children in this global village.

It is upon this premise that we birth:

In the tradition of human capital development INTELLIGENCE CITY is strategically designed to expose your children to variety of learning experience.

This is the perfect opportunity for parents who wish to lay a solid foundation for their children to equip them for the future. More about INTELLIGENCE CITY

Digital Photography Tips for Beginners

 Don’t go crazy buying the most expensive equipment right away.

It’s possible to get very nice photos with an inexpensive point and shoot. See these examples on Flickr. The more photos you take, the more you’ll know about what kind of camera to get when it’s time to upgrade.

2. Consider a tripod.

On the other hand, an inexpensive tripod is worth getting, especially if you have shaky hands like mine. When I got a tripod, my satisfaction with my shots skyrocketed. For even more stability, use your camera’s timer function with a tripod (read our introduction to tripods).

Music on the Web: Google, Facebook and Apple set to battle for your ears

Silicon Valley is poised to upend the music industry -- again.

From Napster to Pandora, from the iPod to the iPhone, technology innovation has made music easier to find and cheaper to buy than ever before. At the same time, it has destabilized the music business and left artists -- at least those not named Justin Bieber or Taylor Swift -- fearing for their livelihoods.

In this latest music revolution, companies like Google (GOOG), Apple (AAPL) and Facebook are eyeing the streaming and on-demand music business now dominated by smaller niche companies such as Pandora and Spotify. When they do -- and most analysts agree it's really just a matter of time -- they could give nearly everyone the ability to listen to whatever they want, whenever they want -- and mostly for free.

15 Things Successful People Do

Ilya Pozin

Founder of Ciplex. Columnist for Inc, Forbes & LinkedIn. 30 Under 30 Entrepreneur.

“Success is to be measured not so much by the position that one has reached in life as by the obstacles which he has overcome.”
Whether in business or life, there's a fine line between success and failure. Booker T. Washington’s quote highlights the inevitability of obstacles on the path to success. In fact, I firmly believe success and failure go hand-in-hand. Those looking to succeed must first fail or learn from those who failed.
 Successful individuals aren’t just born, there’s a lot more that goes into the equation. I've found those who are highly successful have a lot more in common than we may think. If you’re seeking success, these habits may come in handy.

A BLIND REPORT... for one eyed men

A BLIND REPORT... for one eyed men

The superlative hunger for responsible leadership is to say the least Nigeria’s most important prayer point. But I find it hard from wondering, asking myself the one question we ignore the most; Yes! We need change, agreed, we need some measure of direction in leadership, a responsible government, but do we really deserve it? On a scale of justice, do we stand a chance based on our past and present?

MUCH MORE THAN SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY.

MUCH MORE THAN SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY.

The world is one big question begging for answers. With all the uncertainties around us, we are constantly at the edge of learning to respond appropriately to these same earthly interrogations. However, very few understand that love, faith and hope are common answers to the many questions that choke us.

Unfortunately also, we have failed to identify a sublime about love, faith and hope because these are not the answers to the dynamic desires of man. These are customized solutions to man’s most basic needs. This means that as a sublime, it is constant, they don’t change with time.

It is our effort to upgrade love that is the problem with marriage and relationship, it is also our desire to update hope and redefine faith that has resulted to the misunderstandings and complexities in natures most simplified life jackets.
Because of this corrupt perception, we can no longer enjoy the benefits of love, faith, and hope in their original union.
It is true that to a large extend man, has conquered planet earth through science and technology, but I think it would do man more good to remember that the universe still lies unconquered. For despite the extensiveness of freedom, death often time extinguishes our reach.

Having said this, my conclusion is that, it is time we put away our unblended desire to conquer the world and perhaps pay a little attention in conquering self. And see if we can tame this greed, violence and this destructive thirst to enslave and victimize the rest of humanity.

I sincerely believe that the taming of man will indeed be A DISCOVERY OF THE MILLINIA. This is because this list though an excerpt of our destructive striving industry tires me.
